Meanderings of a CEO: Different Facet, Same Diamond

Lately, I’ve been taking some time to write new fiction.

In a previous post here, I mentioned my desire to write new music and how that eventually prompted me to begin writing songs for voices other than my own. Because I understand how my creativity works, I’ve also started putting some of the stories I’ve been stockpiling in my brain onto paper, and now online.

These are works of fiction that I have yet to decide whether to release as books, manga, or AI-assisted novellas.

With the advent of AI, my writing process has become considerably easier. Where I would normally find myself going over passages again and again, stopping to edit as I wrote (a very Virgo trait), I now allow myself to let the words flow freely and concentrate on moving the story forward.

Once I’ve finished writing, I can run the material through an AI editor to clean up grammar, address consistency issues, handle pagination, and take care of the more technical aspects of writing, all while preserving my character voices and original ideas.

It allows me to spend more time doing what I should be doing: progressing the story.

The whole process has also gotten me thinking about the songs I’ve written over the years, some of which are already featured on this site, along with a few short stories I wrote in the past.

I think I may start adding more of those copyrighted works here in the coming months. Partly as a way to honor my past, but also to remind myself of what I’m capable of.

Which brings me to another area of my writing that some of you may not be familiar with.

In one of the previous iterations of my TikTok Live team, we had a section in my Discord called “Adult Lit,” where members could contribute their own spicy stories to share with the group.

And since it was my Discord, of course I had to contribute some of my own talents to the pool!

I ended up sharing two stories in that thread, both of which I intend to bring over to this site. They’ll be published under the NSFW (Not Safe for Work) heading to give readers fair warning, as some of the content can be rather graphic.

Now, I understand the dichotomy here.

Here I am, a Christian woman, openly admitting that I do, on occasion, write spicy fiction—or, as some would call it, smut.

In certain circles, that might be considered un-Christian. In the eyes of others, it might even be considered shameful.

But sometime after turning 40, I came to a realization.

I realized that refusing to honor the entirety of who I am, the person God Himself made me to be, was far more shameful than acknowledging the parts of myself that others might find uncomfortable.

I’m a fully grown woman, still living my life, still very much vibrant, and certainly not ashamed of having physical needs, desires, and cravings.

Those things are part of being human.

And while people and society have often used shame as a means of controlling others, I’ve learned to simply own that part of myself.

It’s one less tool in a manipulator’s arsenal to ever use against me.

Because ownership is power.

So, consider this your friendly warning that you’ll be seeing some of these stories appearing on the site in the coming months, alongside my music, other fiction, and creative projects.

After all, Mythos Nova is a creative house, and I want it to be a place where different forms of artistic expression and storytelling are welcome.

The only expectations are that the content and the people contributing to this space respect the three tenets I’ve long established in my TikTok Lives:

  1. Harm none.
  2. Consent is mandatory.
  3. Leave your egos at the door.

Those principles have guided the communities I’ve built, and they’ll continue to guide the creative space I’m building here.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you’ll enjoy exploring some of the other sides of my creativity.
